Job Description

Project Manager ($26-$38 per hour) Position Overview The Project Manager is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and completion of specific projects consistent with company initiatives and goals. This includes acquiring materials and resources, and coordinating the efforts of team members to deliver completed projects on time and cost-efficiently. The Project Manager will also review quality control reports throughout the lifecycle of the project.
Key Responsibilities Project Planning & Strategy:
Assist in project quoting; determine project scope, milestones, and deliverables; identify necessary resources and raw materials; and create project job travelers for release to the production team.
Technical Design:
Create CAD drawings of parts and nesting layouts.
Coordination & Communication:
Review deliverables and resources with department leads and the production team; coordinate status meetings on a weekly basis (frequency dictated by workload); and use shop software E2 proficiently.
Quality & Documentation:
Review quality assurance throughout all project phases; create or provide all required documentation for deliverables (e.g., packing slips, material certifications, certificates of conformance); and appropriately file or store project information and documents.
Compliance:
Demonstrate knowledge of the internal Quality Management System (QMS), FOD Awareness Prevention, and Counterfeit Parts Awareness.
Operations:
Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications Required Experience & Skills:
At least one year of related work experience (or five consecutive years of related experience). Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar).
Preferred Qualifications:
Three years of machining experience. Knowledge of materials and processes (metals, plastics, heat treating, coatings, etc.). Knowledge of internet and intranet technologies.
Compensation / Pay
Rate (Up to): $26.00 - $38.00
