Aid in the development and implementation of project management standards and disciplines for all projects and programs. Identify and implement process improvements within the department in collaboration with leadership. Able to function as a Business Relationship Manager and/or Senior Project Manager for key organizational initiatives and strategies. Ability to manage multiple enterprise-wide initiatives across functional departments, service lines, or campuses at any given time without any degradation in the quality of work performed. Ability to identify and resolve change management and integration issues between projects and affected departments. Support the resolution of issues as needed. Ability to effectively manage training offerings and certification programs. Ensure that project management principles are consistently applied across all projects following organizational project management standards. Seek out opportunities for improvement within customer departments, projects, and processes. Apply organization lessons learned to future engagements. Develop and maintain processes, tools, and methodologies that support effective project management functions in the areas of planning, decision-making, resource allocation, status tracking, and project success criteria. Support and collaborate with operational leaders in the development of project plans for approved projects. Aid in the identification of project goals, overall objectives, and stakeholder expectations. Lead project initiation which includes collection of business requirements, operational assessment, and stakeholder alignment. Identify project risks and mitigation strategies. Prepare cost-benefit analyses on projects, monitor project deadlines and costs, and conduct post implementation reviews. Perform process analysis, research, project design, operations management, and data quality/integrity measurements.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field Experience managing senior-level internal team members, and reporting to executive level sponsors. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification required Certification in a process improvement discipline (e.g. Lean, etc.) required 8 years work experience or Master's with 5 years work experience in leading enterprise wide projects utilizing project management methods with proven implementation of detailed work plans Proficiency in software applications such as MS Office, Visio, SharePoint, database applications, MS Project, Minitab, etc. Proven experience with building strong relationships with key customers and effective communication strategies.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree in relevant field Understanding of healthcare business systems and processes preferred
