Project Manager Job Description We are seeking a Project Manager who is passionate about improving manufacturing efficiencies and fostering collaboration across internal cross-functional teams. In this role, you will recommend and implement enhancements to internal processes, establish clear communication channels, and ensure accountability for timelines and deliverables. You will also be responsible for reviewing metrics to support informed decision-making and defining daily/weekly backlog burn-down targets within operations and manufacturing. Responsibilities Manage and coordinate internal cross-functional teams focused on operations and lean manufacturing. Recommend and improve internal processes to enhance manufacturing efficiencies. Establish and maintain clear communication channels to drive alignment across groups. Hold team members accountable to timelines and deliverables. Review metrics to support internal decision-making processes. Define and track daily/weekly backlog burn-down targets across operations and manufacturing. Essential Skills 5+ years of project management experience. Bachelor's Degree. Exposure to a manufacturing environment. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to manage internal operations, documentation, and process improvements. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience working with ERP systems (user-level understanding). Work Environment The role is based in a newly remodeled manufacturing facility with attached office space. The position offers an opportunity to work within lean manufacturing processes, focusing on data and documentation to streamline workflows and improve project visibility. This is a 3-4 month contract position, with the potential for extension. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of North Canton, OH. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $42.00 - $52.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
