Permanent/Direct Hire An employee-owned construction company is seeking a Director of Scheduling to provide strategic leadership for enterprise-wide scheduling across complex industrial, manufacturing, technology, and capital construction projects. This role will drive scheduling excellence, improve project predictability, lead a team of scheduling professionals, and provide executive leadership with insight into project performance, resource planning, forecasting, and schedule risk. You will oversee scheduling activities across a portfolio of complex construction projects while partnering with Operations, Project Management, Engineering, Estimating, Construction, and Project Controls teams.
Responsibilities include:
Leading and mentoring a team of schedulers and project controls professionals Overseeing development and maintenance of complex project schedules Analyzing project performance, critical path risks, forecasts, and recovery plans Establishing scheduling standards, governance, and best practices Supporting resource planning and improving forecasting accuracy Providing executive-level reporting and recommendations on project health Driving continuous improvement across the scheduling function
Qualifications:
8-10+ years of experience in construction scheduling, project controls, project management, or related field 5+ years leading and developing scheduling or project controls professionals Experience scheduling complex industrial, manufacturing, technology, or large-scale construction projects Strong knowledge of CPM scheduling, forecasting, schedule recovery, and project controls Advanced proficiency with Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or similar scheduling software Strong understanding of construction execution and project lifecycle management Excellent leadership, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills Ability to present schedule performance, risks, forecasts, and recommendations to senior leadership Apply today if you have experience as a: Director of Scheduling, Scheduling Manager, Director of Project Controls, Project Controls Manager, Scheduling Director, Senior Scheduling Manager, Lead Scheduler, Project Controls Director, Manager of Scheduling, Enterprise Scheduling Manager, Construction Scheduling Manager, Head of Scheduling, Planning and Scheduling Manager, Project Controls Lead, or Corporate Scheduling Manager.
