Job Description

Project Manager — Gator Roofing & Restoration Job Overview Gator Roofing & Restoration is seeking an organized, driven Project Manager to oversee residential and commercial roofing and restoration projects from the first inspection through final invoicing. You'll be the central point of contact keeping crews, customers, suppliers, and insurance carriers aligned so every job is delivered on time, on budget, and to the standard our reputation is built on. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on managing multiple projects at once, communicates clearly, and takes ownership of results. Responsibilities Manage roofing and restoration projects end-to-end: scheduling, material ordering, crew coordination, permits, inspections, and closeout. Conduct or coordinate property inspections and accurately scope repair and replacement work. Work directly with insurance adjusters on storm and restoration claims — documenting damage, preparing estimates and supplements, and moving claims to approval. Build and maintain project schedules and budgets, controlling costs and change orders throughout the job. Serve as the main point of contact for homeowners and commercial clients, keeping them informed and confident from signing to completion. Coordinate subcontractors, in-house crews, and material deliveries to keep jobs moving without gaps or delays. Ensure all work meets safety standards, local building codes, and manufacturer warranty requirements. Use project and CRM software (e.g., AccuLynx, JobNimbus, CompanyCam, or Xactimate) to track jobs, photos, and documentation. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (field-based role with site visits). Recommended but not required 2+ years in roofing, restoration, construction project management, or a related field. Familiarity with insurance claims and the restoration process strongly preferred. Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to juggle multiple active jobs. Excellent communication skills with customers, crews, and adjusters. Comfortable with project management/CRM software and basic estimating tools. Ability to read and interpret scopes of work, estimates, and basic blueprints.
