We are open to candidates with design experience as well as experienced fire sprinkler technicians who are interested in transitioning into design. Training opportunities are available for the right candidate. Responsibilites Design fire sprinkler systems in accordance with applicable codes and standards Prepare drawings, layouts, and maintain project documentation Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and stakeholders, by phone and meetings Review plans and specifications Qualifications Perferred College degree or field knowledge Knowledge of building and fire protection codes Also Encouraged to Apply Experienced fire sprinkler installers, inspectors, or service technicians interested in learning design Required Basic computer proficiency Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook Basic knowledge of Adobe Acrobat Strong attention to detail Good communication and organizational skills Ability and willingness to learn Training & Development For candidates new to design, we are willing to invest in your future by providing: CAD training courses Industry-specific design training Mentorship from experienced professionals Opportunities for career advancement within the company Benefits Competitive pay (based on experience) Health insurance Dental insurance Vision insurance Paid vacation and time off 401 (K) with company match AFLAC supplemental insurance options Paid training and professional development Stable, long-term careeer opportunity Long-term career growth opportunities
