Jacobs is seeking a Licensed Surface Water & Wastewater Treatment Project Manager to join our collaborative team in Pampa, TX. As the Project Manager, you'll work with project staff to oversee the operations, compliance reporting, maintenance of equipment and quality control testing of a 6 MGD surface water treatment plant and a 3 MGD wastewater treatment plant. Additionally, you will be responsible for operation and maintenance of 8 operating water wells and 2 WW lift stations. Partnering with other team members and our client you'll apply knowledge of the principles, methods and tools employed in the general operation of pumps, valves, motors and related equipment, water and wastewater process control, permit compliance, and safe work practices. You'll also have the opportunity to: monitor, record and operate the water waste water treatment processes; diagnose operating problems and direct effective correction procedures; prepare required reports and maintain complete recordkeeping procedures; analyze recording instrument readings and laboratory test results and adjust various plant processes accordingly; perform plant inspections to determine efficiency of operations, cleanliness, and maintenance activities including remedial action in emergencies; supervise, evaluate and train employees and perform other duties as required. Familiar with NPDES, and other applicable permits, with successful permit compliance Associates or College degree in Engineering, Environmental Science or Business Administration A minimum 3 years of supervisory experience Knowledge of laboratory practices and certification Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with the client, the public, coworkers, elected and appointed officials Fundamentals of preparing and executing budgets Experience in report preparations Proficiency or knowledge of computer software including but not limited to Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Maintenance Connection, and HachWIMS.
