MUSCOGEE
(CREEK) NATION Seeking a
PROJECT MANAGER
General Summary:
Under the direction of the Financial Systems Director, the Project Manager is responsible for leading and coordinating financial systems projects across the Muscogee Creek Nation. This role ensures that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with strategic objectives. The Project Manager will work with Finance, IT, Procurement, Grants, and other departments to manage timelines, resources, and communication for successful implementation and optimization of financial systems, including Tyler Technologies Munis.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Coordinate internal and external stakeholders to ensure project milestones are met. Monitor project progress and adjust plans as needed to meet deadlines and objectives. Maintain project documentation including scope, requirements, risks, and decisions. Provide regular reports to leadership on project status, risks, and outcomes. Align project goals with operational needs by working with Finance, IT, and other departments. Facilitate regular project meetings, status updates, and stakeholder communications. Support implementation of new Munis modules and upgrades. Assist in testing, quality assurance, and rollout of financial systems. Ensure projects comply with internal controls, tribal policies, and regulatory requirements. Identify opportunities for process optimization and automation through project initiatives. Collaborate with departments to streamline workflows and improve system utilization. Support the overall financial operations of the organization.
Minimum Requirements :
Associate's degree in Computer Science, Business, Finance, or a related field. 3-5 years of experience in project management or a similar role. Must have a valid Oklahoma driver's license.
