  • Full-time Well established general contractor with over 40 years of successful business is seeking a new member for their management team.
This is a long term position with a generous compensation package for the right candidate. The successful candidate will work closely with a well established management team estimating construction projects, executing contracts, managing construction projects, working closely with owners, subcontractors, and employees to deliver a successful project. We are open to any level of experience; a seasoned veteran of the trade will be just as desirable as new college graduate that we are willing to train in the trade. Although we are not requiring a College degree, degrees that we desire are Management, Engineering, Surveying, or any other that could be helpful in the construction trade. We desire someone with computer experience, good oral and written communication skills, ability to multitask, good problem solving skills, detail oriented, must be able to work under pressure and have good people skills. Competitive pay, 401K, paid vacation, sick, and Medical insurance. Must have a good driving record, reliable transportation and be able to pass a pre-employment drug test.
Responsibilities:
Attend meetings, record information Break projects into doable tasks and set timeframes and goals Create and update workflows, (create and update schedules) Prepare and provided documentation to internal teams and stakeholders Order resources Retrieve necessary information Track expenses and predict future costs Monitor project progress and address potential issues Coordinate quality controls to ensure deliverables meet requirements Measure and report project performace Act as the point of contact for all participants (owner/architect/subcontractors) Process and track submittals Issue subcontract agreements and purchase orders Close out projects, put together
O&M's Skills:
Detail oriented with excellent accuracy Ability to multi-task and work under deadline pressure Solid Excel experience Work experience as a Project Administrator, Project Coordinator or similar role Hands-on experience with flowcharts, technical documentation and schedules Knowledge of project management software (VPM, Fieldwire, Dropbox, etc) Solid organization and time-management skills Team player IT experience extremely helpful
