This position may be based in our Springfield or West Linn, Oregon offices or in Boise, Idaho. This is a key project leadership role for someone who enjoys bringing people, information, and technical details together to deliver successful projects. The right person is a curious problem-solver, trusted client partner, and tenacious finisher who takes ownership, communicates clearly, and creates order across complex projects. What You'll Do Lead commissioning projects from proposal and planning through functional testing, issue resolution, and closeout. Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, deliverables, and client expectations. Coordinate commissioning engineers, technicians, design teams, contractors, owners, and other project stakeholders. Apply sound technical judgment to evaluate designs, investigate issues, and develop practical solutions. Facilitate productive meetings, clearly communicate findings, and keep decisions and action items moving forward. Build trusted client relationships through responsiveness, accountability, and an understanding of each client's goals. Mentor team members, share knowledge, and contribute to the continued improvement of our commissioning processes and standards. Support future project opportunities by developing strong, mutually beneficial relationships with clients and industry partners. What You Bring Five or more years of experience in commissioning, engineering, installation, startup, testing, or operation of building systems. Strong working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, controls, lighting, power, security, laboratory, or other complex building systems. Experience independently managing projects, priorities, budgets, schedules, and multidisciplinary teams. The ability to investigate technical challenges, ask thoughtful questions, and drive issues toward resolution. Clear written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain technical information to varied audiences. A Mechanical Professional Engineer license, or the ability to obtain one within 12 months. A commissioning credential such as CCP or BCxP is preferred.
