This role will support our Commissioning team from West Linn, Oregon serving clients across Oregon with a focus on the Portland Metro and southern Washington region. We are looking for someone who thrives on seeing projects through to the finish line, making sound technical decisions, and building trust with clients and teammates. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in doing things right the first time, follows through reliably, and communicates with clarity and respect. What You'll Do Lead the commissioning process from proposal through project closeout, ensuring systems perform as intended and all deliverables are completed to a high standard. Apply strong technical judgment and discernment to evaluate designs, solve problems in the field, and keep projects moving forward. Manage multiple commissioning projects independently, with support from commissioning technicians, engineers, and subject matter experts. Act as a trusted mentor and collaborator, sharing knowledge and guiding others to achieve quality outcomes. Build long-term client relationships through dependability, steady communication, and accountability. Who You Are Detail-oriented and process-driven : You naturally spot issues, ask the right questions, and hold yourself to high quality standards. Tenacious finisher : You follow through, close the loop, and ensure commitments are met — no loose ends left behind. Steady and reliable communicator : You know how to explain technical details clearly, listen closely, and maintain strong client and teammate trust. Qualifications 4-10 years of experience in commissioning, engineering, installation, startup, and testing of building mechanical/electrical systems. Mechanical or Electrical PE license (or ability to obtain). Strong technical knowledge across HVAC, lighting, power, security/access, labs, plumbing, and other building systems. Prior commissioning project management experience strongly preferred. Building Commissioning certification(s) (CCP, BCxP, etc.) a plus.
