Job Description
The Project Manager supports the Senior Business Leader responsible for the Core Systems Transformation Program by coordinating business execution activities across participating departments. This role ensures business deliverables, decisions, dependencies, and readiness activities are tracked and completed on schedule.
The Project Manager serves as the primary point of coordination for business workstreams, helping drive accountability, maintain governance processes, and support operational readiness while allowing leadership to focus on stakeholder engagement, communications, and strategic direction.
Responsibilities
Business Execution & Coordination Coordinate business workstreams and track business-owned deliverables.
Monitor progress against key milestones and escalate risks or delays.
Maintain action item, dependency, and decision tracking. Business Readiness Coordinate operational readiness activities across impacted departments.
Track development of business procedures, roles, and support processes.
Identify readiness gaps and work with business leaders on mitigation plans.
Support transition planning from implementation to business operations. Governance & Reporting Prepare agendas, meeting materials, and status updates.
Track follow-up actions and ensure accountability.
Develop concise business-focused reporting for leadership review. Required Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, Project Management, or related field.
3+ years of project management, business operations, or transformation experience.
Strong organizational, facilitation, and stakeholder coordination skills.
Experience supporting large cross-functional initiatives.
Excellent communication and documentation skills. Preferred Experience supporting core systems implementations or business transformation programs.
Insurance, claims, underwriting, operations, or financial services experience.
PMP or related project management certification. Success Measures Timely completion of business-owned deliverables.
Effective tracking and resolution of business issues and decisions.
Achievement of business readiness milestones.
High-quality governance and status reporting.
Strong coordination across business workstreams.
