Position summary:

The Junior Project Manager Supports (insert department) projects under the guidance of senior leadership by assisting with planning, organizing, and executing project tasks. Collaborates closely with technical leads and team members to help ensure high‑quality outcomes are delivered on time and within budget. Essential functions and responsibilities Collaborates and coordinates with appropriate technical team leads for each task of the project to effectively execute the scope, manage the budget, and execute project status and changes.

Partnering with the design manager or technical leads to effectively communicate with a project team during scope and project execution.

Build relationships with client(s) to understand preferences and requirements to set-up and execute a quality project.

Assist project manager with developing a risk adverse project scope and fee. Develops specific project plans, Project Management Plans/quality management plan. Support project manager with contract/project administration and management; preparation of pre-contractual and contractual documents, scope, price proposals, fee/task proposals, change orders, resource planning, and other project-related documentation for submission to clients. Learn how to monitor project cost, schedule, risks, and quality with guidance from Project or Senior Project Manager.

Utilize PowerBI project reports to track project KPI's.

Preparing for and participating in project review meetings.

Prepare clear, concise, and accurate project documentation, including progress reports, presentations, memos, and client communications.

Assist in presentation development for stakeholders through all stages of the project.

Plan, facilitate, and lead internal and external project meetings, including status reviews, technical discussions, and client briefings.

Communicate and partner with the public, government agencies, contractors and sub-contractors, etc. about project requirements, inquires, and resolutions.

Develops a working knowledge of the technical components relevant to your assigned disciplines and projects. Support leadership in marketing and business development efforts by applying a Seller‑Doer mindset in client interactions and project discussions to promote the firm's broader service offerings. Associates Degree

4+ years of related experience

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite Client‑oriented mindset with a strong commitment to delivering high‑quality professional services Preferred Experience Bachelors Degree in Business, Engineering, Technology, Project Management, or related field.

Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM)

Knowledge of the A/E/C industry preferred Professional License or applicable certification Working knowledge of technology environments such as software development, infrastructure, data, cybersecurity, or enterprise systems.

Familiar with project management methodologies (PMBOK, Agile, Waterfall, etc.) Working Conditions Work is performed within a general office environment. Work is generally sedentary in nature, but may require occasional standing and walking. Lighting and temperature are adequate and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc. within the office environment.
