Full job description About Us Client is a design-build outdoor living company specializing in high-end landscape and hardscape construction, including patios, outdoor kitchens, pools, lighting, and full property transformations. We take pride in craftsmanship, efficiency, and building strong teams that consistently deliver high-quality results. Position Overview We are seeking a Landscape/Hardscape Project Manager to oversee the successful execution of residential outdoor living projects. This role is a leadership role focused on: Planning and coordination Crew development and training Client communication Delivering a finished product on time and on budget
Note:
this position is a field position Key Responsibilities Project Planning & Coordination Review project plans with designers and Production Manager prior to start Perform pre-construction site visits Coordinate materials, equipment, and subcontractors Daily Project Management Develop and communicate a clear daily plan for the crew Delegate tasks effectively and ensure accountability Monitor job progress against estimated hours and production goals Track and forecast project completion timelines Document daily progress with photos and notes Leadership & Crew Development Train and develop crew members to work independently Assign responsibility-not just tasks Promote a culture of accountability, safety, and quality Client & Subcontractor Communication Maintain consistent communication with clients regarding progress and schedule Coordinate and stay in constant contact with subcontractors Schedule and lead project walkthroughs and punch list completion Scheduling & Forecasting Track remaining hours vs. production rates to forecast completion dates Communicate schedule changes proactively to management Ensure no surprises on timelines or project status Administrative Responsibilities Complete and submit timesheets at the end of each workday Provide weekly client updates Coordinate with internal teams on scheduling, equipment, and materials Daily Expectations Arrive prepared with a plan for the day before the crew starts Lead on site direction and assign responsibilities Manage-not micromanage-crew performance throughout the day Balance field presence with project management duties (calls, scheduling, tracking) Plan ahead for the next day before leaving the job site What Success Looks Like Projects run efficiently and stay on schedule Crews are trained, productive, and improving Clients are informed and satisfied You can step away briefly and the job continues running smoothly You always know where the project stands-and where it's headed Qualifications 3+ years experience in landscape, hardscape, or construction project management Strong leadership and team development skills Ability to read plans and manage jobsite logistics Experience coordinating subcontractors and materials Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Class A CDL is a requirement for the position, but can be obtained through the company after hire Ideal candidate would be proficient running skid loader and mini-excavators Preferred Experience Design-build outdoor living projects Paver patios, retaining walls, pools, outdoor kitchens, or similar work Scheduling and production tracking Client-facing project management Benefits 401(k) matching Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Vision insuranceCompensation Package:
