$46,980 DESCRIPTION/JOB SUMMARY To coordinate multiple facets of engineering-based projects related to continuous improvement on FDA Group 2/3, ISO Class B/C medical devices bringing products to production within established timeframes while facilitating cross-departmental communicationRESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES
- Facilitate meetings for product development and design reviews
- Facilitate productivity of multiple teams within Research & Development (R D) such as Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, Drafting, Test Lab and Machine Shop
- Develop strong working relationships with all functional teams including Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Sales and Distribution
- Effectively maintain communication with all teams involved in assigned groups of projects
- Construct and maintain project milestones, timelines and minor configuration documentation
- Facilitate product transition from design to release into production
- Complete continuous improvement Engineering Change Requests (ECR's) assigned on recently launched & legacy products
- Develop familiarity with regulatory requirements so as to make compliance recommendations
- Attend trade shows as needed
- Ensure all safety and security rules are strictly observed and any accidents, incidents or injuries are promptly reported to management
- Complete the Annual CTPAT Security Training
- Focus on continuous improvement, and consistently demonstrate good business judgment
- Work effectively with all Pride departments to exceed internal and external expectations
- Pride retains the discretion to modify duties and/or assign other duties as necessary
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Must be skilled in time management, and be a friendly team player, professional, detail-oriented, and honest Must have the ability to:
- Multi-task, problem-solve, and prioritize in a fast-paced working environment
- Successfully coordinate, organize, plan, design and implement each stage of a project within specific time constraints with minimal direction
- Work as part of a multi-disciplined cross-functional team
- Travel domestically as needed
- Read and interpret mechanical drawings and instructions as required
- Use hand tools and standard power tools
- Prepare and present summary reports Must have:
- Relentless drive to achieve advancement and continuous improvement
- Excellent presentation, verbal and written communication skills
- Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Office Word and Excel
PREFERRED SKILLS
- Basic working knowledge of Oracle and/or Agile preferred
- Lift/push/pull 40 lbs.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
- At least 1 year of proven experience successfully coordinating projects or tasks in a fast-paced office or manufacturing environment with minimal direction OR, in lieu of experience, an Associate degree or higher in a field related to Engineering, Business or Healthcare
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
- At least 1 year of project management experience successfully leading, managing, or coordinating projects or tasks from initiation through delivery inclusive of meeting the project requirements in terms of scope, quality, schedule, budget, and resources in a fast-paced Research & Development or manufacturing environment preferred
- At least 1 year of experience with the specific products preferred
- Current or previous successful employment experience with Pride Mobility Products Corporation preferred
REQUIRED EDUCATION
- High School Diploma or
GED PREFERRED EDUCATION
- Associate's Degree in an Engineering, Business or Healthcare related field preferred
- Project Management Professional certification preferred
