Job Description

Join Our Team as a Project Manager III/IV at CAP Global Works, LLC! Are you an experienced project management professional with a passion for overseeing complex facility projects? At CAP Global Works, LLC, located in Erie, PA, we are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager III/IV to join our team on a long-term contract in Plano, TX. If you have a proven track record of managing large-scale projects and thrive in a dynamic environment, we'd love to hear from you! What You'll Do As a Project Manager III/IV , you'll play a critical role in the planning, design, and construction of facility projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with regulations.
Your responsibilities will include:
Project Oversight Lead and manage multiple facility-related projects from initiation to completion. Develop and implement project plans, timelines, and budgets aligned with organizational goals. Stakeholder Engagement Collaborate with internal departments, external vendors, and contractors to meet project requirements. Communicate project status updates to stakeholders, including senior management. Budget Management Prepare and oversee project budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness. Evaluate contractor bids and negotiate contracts to optimize project costs. Compliance and Standards Ensure all projects adhere to USPS regulations, safety standards, and environmental guidelines. Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify maintenance needs and compliance issues. Team Leadership Lead cross-functional teams, providing guidance and support throughout the project lifecycle. Mentor junior project managers and support their professional growth. Risk Management Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies. Implement contingency plans to minimize disruptions. Reporting and Documentation Maintain comprehensive project documentation and ensure accessibility. Prepare detailed reports on project performance, metrics, and outcomes. Specialized Areas Design & Construction (D&C): Collaborate with A/E contractors, review real estate sites, monitor progress, and ensure historical preservation of facilities. Repair & Alteration (R&A): Oversee repair and alteration projects, manage funding requests, review designs, and process payroll and project closeouts. What We're Looking For Education A bachelor's or graduate degree in architecture, construction management, or civil, structural, electrical, or mechanical engineering. Alternatively, current state registration as an architect or engineer. Experience 7-10 years of project management experience, particularly in facilities management or construction. Proven success in managing large-scale projects. Skills Strong leadership and team-building abilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in project management software and tools. Analytical and problem-solving expertise. Working Conditions Onsite role in Plano, TX. May require travel to USPS facilities. Flexibility to work varying hours to meet project demands. ️
