SUMMARY OF POSITION
Responsible for oversight, management, and development of the Planning & Capital Projects division of the Hershey Medical Center & College of Medicine Facilities Department. Scope of responsibility includes all PSU•and PSH-owned buildings located on the Hershey Campus. Aspects of this position include leadership of master planning, capital planning, and design review processes, as well as stewardship of regulatory compliance and training programs. Oversees Project Management, Renovations, and Planning personnel. Directs external Architectural & Engineering consultants, Construction Managers, and General Contractors. Develops and implements operational and capital budgets. Responsible for integrating Planning & Project Delivery functions at the Academic Medical Center.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION
(S): Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline required. Minimum ten (10) years progressive experience managing planning and projects within a higher education or healthcare environment. Minimum of five (5) years supervisory experience required.
