This role is well suited to someone who thrives in a deadline-driven environment, builds strong working relationships, and can manage several active jobs at once. The ideal candidate brings sound judgment in budget oversight, contractor coordination, and client communication across renovation, expansion, and ground-up construction work.
Responsibilities:
Direct multiple construction assignments simultaneously, ensuring each project advances on schedule, within budget, and according to scope expectations. Guide projects from initial planning and contracting activities through mobilization, execution, inspections, and final handoff. Review drawings, specifications, and related design materials to confirm vendor and subcontractor pricing aligns with project needs. Build and maintain productive partnerships with subcontractors, suppliers, clients, and design professionals to support efficient project delivery. Coordinate permit applications and oversee submission requirements to keep projects compliant with applicable regulations. Manage submittals, cost tracking, and financial performance throughout the project lifecycle, including oversight of change orders. Prepare accurate monthly invoicing for assigned projects and monitor financial results with attention to profitability and risk control. Facilitate effective communication among clients, field teams, and internal stakeholders to support smooth execution and issue resolution. Support an organized transition from preconstruction activities into active construction operations and ensure a thorough project closeout process. Proven ability to lead several construction projects at the same time, including renovations, building additions, and new construction. Strong understanding of project delivery from concept development through contract administration and final completion. Experience interpreting architectural and engineering documents and evaluating subcontractor and supplier proposals. Demonstrated skill in budget management, cost forecasting, and maintaining control over large project financials. Ability to manage change orders effectively while protecting project margins and minimizing losses.
