Food Service Designer

Job Summary The Food Service Designer position supports all Design Studio functions from managing multiple simultaneous projects to providing design assistance and troubleshooting solutions for designs. Develops design and construction packages including schematic layouts, design development, construction documents, specifications, spot rough-in utility drawings, etc. Coordinates with manufacturers through the design process to identify and effectively communicate clear design direction for a multitude of Food Service operations in a fast-paced environment. The Food Service Designer has a strong ability to operate independently however thrives in a Team environment to accomplish set goals. Responsibilities Supports Design Team and executes production on multiple projects simultaneously Provides assistance, and troubleshooting solutions for multiple internal clients Develops design and construction packages including but not limited to layouts, specifications, spot rough-ins and utility schedules for commercial kitchen designs Coordinates manufacturer shop drawings for design implementation into active design documents Advances our position within the marketplace through continuous design improvements and offerings Collaborates in Team environment to develop process and design improvement initiatives Engages in daily tracking of progress and show visibility of production on a daily/ weekly basis Receives feedback and implements direction from Senior Level design team members
