Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Electrical Project Manager to lead and oversee complex electrical infrastructure projects from inception to completion. This role is pivotal in ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in strict compliance with all safety and regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in construction management, electrical systems, and project coordination, with a passion for driving excellence in large-scale infrastructure initiatives. Responsibilities Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of electrical construction projects, ensuring adherence to project scope, schedule, and budget. Coordinate with clients, engineers, subcontractors, and internal teams to develop detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or similar project management software. Review and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical specifications to ensure accurate implementation of electrical systems. Manage project budgets by tracking costs using HeavyBid or equivalent estimating tools; implement cost control measures to maximize efficiency. Oversee construction site activities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and environmental standards. Supervise and manage project teams, including subcontractors and on-site personnel, fostering clear communication and collaboration. Utilize construction management software such as ProCore or Bluebeam for document control, progress tracking, and reporting. Ensure timely procurement of materials and equipment while managing contracts and change orders effectively. Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality standards, and safety protocols; address issues proactively to minimize delays. Maintain comprehensive project documentation including schedules, reports, RFIs (Requests for Information), and regulatory compliance records. Requirements Proven experience managing electrical or heavy civil infrastructure projects within the construction industry. Strong knowledge of construction regulations, safety standards, and building codes applicable to electrical systems. Proficiency in project management tools such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word), Bluebeam, ProCore, Civil 3D, HeavyBid or similar estimating software. Demonstrated ability to read and interpret construction plans and blueprints accurately. Experience managing project budgets, schedules, and teams in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills for coordinating with clients, stakeholders, subcontractors, and internal teams. Construction site experience with a focus on electrical systems installation is highly preferred. Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail. Knowledge of construction regulatory compliance requirements related to large-scale infrastructure projects is essential.
