Job Summary/Objectives:
The Senior Healthcare Supply Chain Project Manager is a senior-level consulting role responsible for leading complex, client-facing engagements focused on optimizing healthcare supply chain operations and care delivery support systems. This individual partners with healthcare organizations to assess current operations, identify opportunities for improvement, and design and implement data-driven solutions that enhance operational efficiency, supply chain performance, and clinical workflows. This role serves as a trusted advisor to clients, working closely with clinical, operational, and administrative stakeholders across perioperative and procedural environments-including Surgery, Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology, and Central Sterile Processing-to align strategic objectives with practical, sustainable solutions. Leveraging deep expertise in healthcare supply chain operations, inventory management, logistics, and facility operations, the Senior Project Manager leads engagements from initial assessment through implementation, ensuring high-quality deliverables and measurable outcomes. The Senior Project Manager is also responsible for guiding and mentoring project teams, providing technical direction, and fostering collaboration and accountability across multidisciplinary teams. As a senior leader within the Healthcare Business Unit, this role contributes to the development of methodologies, thought leadership, and best practices, while identifying opportunities to expand client relationships through continued value delivery. Experience Requirement 10+ years of experience leading and/or consulting on healthcare supply chain operations, with expertise in inventory management, logistics, and operational performance. Experience supporting perioperative and procedural environments-including Surgery, Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology, and Central Sterile Processing-is highly desirable. Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering, Healthcare Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field required; an MBA or other advanced degree is strongly preferred. Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving expertise in optimizing complex supply chain networks, material flow, and operational resources, with the ability to leverage data-driven methodologies to improve efficiency, resiliency, and overall performance. analytical experience related to complex supply chain resources and plant operations. Key Responsibilities:
Partner with clients to understand their unique operational challenges, strategic goals, and operational requirements, translating business needs into practical solutions. Collaborate closely with clinical, operational, and administrative stakeholders to assess current-state processes and identify opportunities for improvement across facilities and care delivery systems. Lead and manage consulting engagements from initiation through implementation, providing direction, mentorship, and oversight to project team members to ensure successful execution. Define and communicate project objectives, scope, schedules, and deliverables while maintaining alignment with client expectations and organizational priorities. Foster collaboration, accountability, and effective communication among multidisciplinary teams to drive project success and sustainable results. Develop and implement data-driven, innovative solutions that improve operational efficiency, supply chain performance, and clinical workflows. Identify opportunities for follow-on engagements and long-term partnerships by consistently delivering high-quality work and measurable value to clients. Mentor analysts, engineers, and junior staff in project management, quality standards, and best practices to support professional growth and project excellence. Serve as a senior resource and trusted advisor to engineers and project teams, providing guidance on methodologies, problem-solving approaches, and industry best practices. Maintain awareness of industry trends, emerging technologies, regulatory requirements, and healthcare best practices to inform client recommendations and solution development. Contribute to the development of company methodologies, thought leadership, and best practices to strengthen organizational capabilities and market presence. Support continuous improvement initiatives by leveraging analytics, process optimization techniques, and emerging technologies to enhance healthcare operations and patient care outcomes. Work Environment:
Primarily a controlled office environment. Client sites could consist of hospital environments, pharmacies, or warehouse operations, and conditions may vary. Physical Demands:
St Onge Company operates both hybrid and remote office options. Client site visits may entail walking tours through the hospital support service and patient care areas. Projects may entail lifting materials up to 50 lbs. Travel Requirements:
Travel is client dependent and typically ranges from 30-50%. Travel will vary from project to project. Travel may be extensive at times and less extensive at other times and may include occasional overnights.
