Architecture Project Manager

As a pb2 architecture project manager, you will be part of a team involved with design, production and project coordination for retail, grocery, convenience stores, fuel stations and commercial buildings nationwide. The position will apply basic/intermediate architecture principles to complete design concepts, coordinate among the project team, and produce design/construction documents and details using Revit. The position will work with the Project Architect to make project decisions based upon factors such as client requirements, building constraints, and local regulations. This is a salaried, full time position working in our office located in beautiful Northwest Arkansas. A remote work option is available to candidates based on experience and suitability.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Work Visa Sponsorship will not be provided
• Valid driver's license
• Bachelor's degree in architecture or interior architecture from an accredited program preferred
• Prefer three or more years' experience with Bachelor's degree
• Prefer five years' experience without Bachelor's degree
• Desire to achieve licensure if applicable
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Multi-tasking and time management skills; able to manage multiple projects at one time
• Proficient in REVIT, AutoCAD, Bluebeam
• Working knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe, Microsoft Teams
• Ability to communicate information clearly and effectively
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Able to work with minimal supervision and is a self-starter.
• Ability to work both independently and in a collaborative team environment.
• Willingness to learn new technology/equipment/software
• Willingness to take on challenging projects.
• Some travel available but not required Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
• Prepare working drawings ensuring the concepts fall within schedule and budget for the project.
• Work with multiple project teams and disciplines to produce fully coordinated construction documents and ensure there are no conflicts or interferences between designed systems.
• Ensure that all design work is within the preliminary scope definition and comply with all applicable codes.
• Communicate appropriate information on project status, scope changes and problem areas to Project Architect.
• Maintain working knowledge of building codes, energy codes as well as design and construction procedures to meet changing priorities. Ability to research and resolve code issues.
• Produce drawings and designs in accordance with company production and design standards.
• Promote, utilize, and support quality assurance and quality control processes to improve the quality of deliverables and reduce design errors & omissions.
• Ability to manage project schedules and budgets.
• Willingness to travel to project locations on a limited basis.
• Participation in the construction administration of project assignments
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changes in work requests or environment
• Coordination with clients, consultants, contractors, and regulatory agencies to meet overall project objectives

Work Schedule/Hours:

Monday -Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM CST. One hour lunch break at noon. Occasional time outside of these hours may be required to complete tasks and meet project deadlines.

Physical Activity Level:

Generally sedentary physical activity performing non-strenuous daily tasks, including frequent typing, computer use in an office setting. Occasional air travel or driving to project sites may be required.
