BASIC RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintains a close working relationship with the assigned department manager(s), be informed of the department's needs, and implement and support products and services.TYPICAL DUTIES
Works closely with the project sponsor(s) to develop the scope and deliverables for new/modified projects. Develops the project plan in accordance with the scope and deliverables of the project. Leads the assigned resource(s) to implement each project according to the project plan and in accordance with GECU's Project Management Methodology. Maintains documentation files for all Project related materials (e.g. Scope & Deliverables, Project Plan, Issues log, Meeting Agendas/Minutes, Weekly Status reports). Schedules and facilitates all necessary meetings to coordinate assigned projects. Provides timely and relevant updates to leadership regarding significant developments. Develops test scripts and test new or modified software, verify the test results, and accept or reject the new or modified application and products. Liaison with in-house and vendor technical staffs to resolve software problems and monitor the resolution of problems. Alerts the assigned department manager, VP, SVP PMO if problems are not resolved in a reasonable time. Establishes and maintain close working relationships with vendors to stay informed with their changes and modifications to their products. Develops and maintain relationships with other credit unions and share non-proprietary information freely. Actively researches and stays informed of evolving technologies in the financial services/product industry that may improve the operation of and the products and services provided by the assigned department. This position may require the employee to work from home occasionally. Maintain and understand compliance to ensure that work complies with GECU's established policies, procedures and applicable regulations, to include Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Anti-Money Laundering Act (AML) addressing Money Laundering and the Countering the Financing of Terrorism (CFT), Member Identification Program (MIP), and Office of Foreign Asset Control (OFAC). Coordinates with management, users, vendors, and IT to ensure maximum utilization of desktop and automated sales tools. Assists in the development of training for staff on all IT systems and tools. Recommends system enhancements and developing business cases as necessary. Participate in the evaluation and selection of computer software solutions with third party vendors, users, and IT. Processes Vendor Oversight Program requests in compliance with GECU's established procedures. Other duties as may be assigned or required in connection with the general operation of the credit union. Possess knowledge of the assigned department's operation, its products and services and the software in use. Able to work with minimal supervision and use initiative. Good Interpersonal skills Knowledgeable of integration requirements with other GECU products and services. Experienced Project Management skillsTECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENT
Have or acquire superior knowledge of the applications used by the assigned department and their integration with other GECU products and services. Understanding of integration and middleware technologies. In-dept knowledge of MS Office software including MS Project. Understanding of all technologies that deliver the services and products of the assigned departmentEDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration/Computer Science (or related field) Five years similar or related project management experience. PMP certification preferred Requires sitting the majority of the day, lifting up to 10 pounds, bending, reaching above and below shoulder level occasionally.Required Availability:
Monday- Friday 8:00am
- 5:00pm Can include after hour and weekend work depending on project requirements. Hybrid position
