Position Overview Our client is seeking a professional and organized Business Project Coordinator to support field operations and project activities. The primary responsibility of this position is making outbound phone calls to customers. The coordinator will also gather, analyze, translate, and communicate information while providing administrative support to the Project Manager. The ideal candidate has strong communication skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment. ResponsibilitiesMake outbound phone calls to customers as the primary function of the position.
Clearly communicate project information, updates, and next steps to customers.
Gather, review, analyze, and organize customer and project-related information.
Translate information into clear updates, reports, and supporting documentation.
Provide administrative and coordination support to the Project Manager.
Maintain accurate records of customer conversations, project activities, and follow-up items.
Track assigned tasks and ensure information is delivered to the appropriate stakeholders.
Respond professionally to customer questions and escalate concerns when necessary.
Complete general administrative duties and special projects as assigned.
Follow established company procedures, quality standards, and confidentiality requirements.
Qualifications1 to 2 years of experience in project coordination, customer service, administrative support, or a related role.
Strong verbal communication and professional telephone skills.
Comfortable making frequent outbound customer calls.
Strong organizational, analytical, and documentation abilities.
Ability to communicate detailed information clearly and accurately.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
Ability to work independently while collaborating with project managers and team members.
Dependable, detail-oriented, and able to manage competing priorities.
High school diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor's degree is a plus.
Additional InformationThis is a hybrid position based in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
The position does not require driving or business travel.
Candidates must be able to work 40 hours per week.
This is initially a six-month contract with the possibility of an extension or conversion to a direct-hire position.
Benefits are available during the contract assignment.
