As a Director of Projects for Energy and Power in the Americas, you will join a collaborative team delivering planning, engineering, procurement, construction management, and programmatic solutions. We are seeking a strategic, hands‑on leader who thrives on collaboration, challenges the status quo, and consistently delivers exceptional results. In this role, you will influence teams across the North America Energy and Power business to achieve consistent, scalable, and high quality execution. You will strengthen delivery excellence by establishing governance frameworks, driving accountability, and embedding best in class delivery practices across the portfolio. You will own and enforce the enterprise delivery governance framework, ensuring consistent execution across all projects. This includes defining, tracking, and improving key performance indicators such as quality, margin, schedule, and safety. You will provide leadership visibility into portfolio performance, risks, issues, and recovery actions through both organic collaboration and structured processes, including project reviews and audits. You will also manage monthly escalation processes, revenue recognition, and portfolio performance reviews to maintain disciplined and predictable delivery. You will establish and standardize delivery methodologies, tools, and workflows across the organization. This includes ownership of quality assurance and control programs, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives that drive operational excellence. You will champion the Project Delivery Advancement Program, ensuring full adoption, consistent implementation, and sustained maturity across teams. You will build organizational capability by developing project delivery talent through training, mentoring, and knowledge sharing. Your leadership will help teams adopt best practices while reinforcing Jacobs expectations for delivery excellence and strengthening the readiness of project managers and project services professionals. As a trusted advisor to project and portfolio teams, you will support consistent and successful execution across a diverse portfolio. You will oversee project services functions to ensure effective integration of project controls, planning, cost management, and reporting. You will guide teams in managing risk, applying governance, and maintaining alignment with client expectations while fostering engagement, accountability, and professional growth. You will contribute to commercial and strategic initiatives by supporting Tier 1 pursuits, shaping delivery strategy, execution planning, and risk mitigation. You will operate within an elevated Delegated Level of Authority and lead a collaborative, safety focused delivery organization that promotes a strong safety culture across design and field environments. You will work across offices and global teams to ensure alignment, share best practices, and strengthen Jacobs Energy and Power delivery capability. #LI-CC1 #epjobs #naepjobs Here's what you'll need Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline (or equivalent experience) 15+ years of experience managing projects for industrial or Energy & Power facilities Proven experience mentoring project managers and engineering teams Strong safety leadership and commitment to safe project execution Experience delivering complex, multi-office EPCM or design-build projects Strong financial acumen including cost control, forecasting, and earned value management Experience in proposal development, estimating, and client engagement
Ideally, You'll Also Have:
Certifications such as CCM, PE, PMP, or Architect license Expertise in design, construction, delivery systems, and contract management Experience delivering programs exceeding $500M in construction value or leading delivery governance across large, multi‑disciplinary programs Strong client relationships within Energy & Power markets Prior field experience Ability to travel as required Experience implementing or managing project delivery governance frameworks, QA/QC programs, or continuous improvement initiatives Experience integrating project controls, planning, cost management, and reporting functions across multi‑office teams

And certain roles may be eligible for additional rewards, including merit increases, performance discretionary bonus, and stock. The base salary range for this position is $182,500.00 to $239,625.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
