Job Overview We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Project Manager to oversee construction projects from initiation to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction project management, with hands-on experience managing construction sites and coordinating with various stakeholders. This role involves a balanced mix of on-site supervision and office work (including some work from home), including reviewing project plans, scheduling, and providing regular status updates. The position is contract to hire and offers an opportunity to lead diverse commercial construction projects. Duties Manage construction projects on-site, ensuring work is completed safely, on time, and within scope. Oversee day-to-day construction site activities, coordinating subcontractors and resolving issues as they arise. Review and interpret construction plans and technical drawings to ensure accurate implementation. Develop and maintain detailed construction schedules to coordinate project phases effectively. Communicate regularly with stakeholders, providing project status updates and addressing any concerns promptly. Collaborate with engineering teams or technical staff as needed to ensure project specifications are met. Monitor project progress, quality standards, and safety compliance throughout the construction process. Balance time between on-site management and office work reviewing plans, budgets, and documentation. Requirements Proven experience in construction project management, particularly within commercial construction environments. Hands-on experience managing construction sites and supervising subcontractors. Strong knowledge of construction plans, scheduling, and project coordination. Engineering or technical background is preferable. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively across multiple projects. Strong communication skills for liaising with stakeholders, clients, subcontractors, and team members. Ability to adapt to dynamic work environments with a focus on safety and quality standards. Valid experience in managing construction timelines, resources, and documentation efficiently. $50,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
