Job Description

Environmental Project Manager (Field & Execution Focus) Hybrid | Southern California About the Opportunity We're partnering with a growing environmental consulting team supporting a diverse portfolio of site investigation, remediation, and compliance projects across California. This is an opportunity to step into a high-impact, hands-on role where you'll contribute across both field operations and project execution , helping drive real work forward on active environmental projects. If you enjoy balancing technical fieldwork with project ownership , and want to be part of a team where your work directly impacts project delivery — this role offers strong visibility and long-term growth. What You'll Be Doing Support environmental projects across both field and office environments Participate in field activities such as: Soil, groundwater, and vapor sampling Drilling coordination and site investigations Prepare and contribute to: Environmental reports (site assessments, monitoring, remediation) Regulatory documentation and submittals Coordinate with: Project teams, subcontractors, and technical staff Help ensure projects move from data collection through deliverable completion Manage and prioritize work across multiple active projects What They're Looking For Background in environmental consulting, geology, engineering, or related field Experience with: Fieldwork (sampling, site investigations, drilling oversight) Technical reporting or data interpretation Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously Comfortable working in a fast-paced, project-driven environment Nice to Have (Not Required) Experience with remediation or contaminated sites Familiarity with environmental permitting or regulatory processes Certifications such as HAZWOPER or related safety training Work Environment Hybrid role with a mix of: Fieldwork (project-dependent) Office/reporting responsibilities Opportunity for travel based on project needs Why This Role Stands Out Immediate opportunity to contribute to active, ongoing projects Exposure to both field operations and technical deliverables Clear path for growth into project management or technical specialization Work alongside experienced professionals on a wide variety of environmental projects Who This Is Ideal For Environmental professionals who enjoy being in the field and owning their work Candidates looking to move beyond pure support roles into more responsibility and project involvement Individuals who thrive in environments where priorities shift and no two projects look the same Interested? Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $35.10 - $38.46/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
