Environmental Project Manager Job Description We are seeking an Environmental Project Manager with land development experience to join our fast-growing Energy and Power practice. In this role, you will manage development projects for renewable energy installations, working at the intersection of sustainable energy and environmental compliance. The successful candidate will collaborate with our multidisciplinary team of engineers, scientists, geologists, CAD designers, and administrative staff to deliver comprehensive solutions that meet our clients' energy goals. Responsibilities Oversee stormwater management design, erosion and sediment control planning, and related land development engineering for solar, wind, and other energy & power projects. Lead the design, permitting, and development of multiple renewable energy projects across the Mid-Atlantic, with a focus on Maryland. Ensure environmental compliance and conduct site assessments, remediation, soil sampling, and groundwater analysis. Essential Skills Proficiency in project management and environmental science. Experience with solar design, land development, stormwater design, and renewable energy. Strong skills in erosion control, sediment control, and project coordination. Professional Engineer (PE) certification. Experience with stormwater management plans, erosion & sediment control planning, and permitting (NPDES). Knowledge of state environmental regulations and experience navigating local permitting authorities for zoning, subdivision, and stormwater ordinances. Additional Skills & Qualifications Preferred certifications in NPDES, CSCNM, and PE. Experience in environmental engineering, site assessment, remediation, soil sampling, and groundwater analysis. Work Environment The position offers a flexible work environment with hybrid options available, ideally for candidates located near the Columbia, Maryland office. The role is eligible for a quarterly bonus following six months of employment. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Columbia, MD. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $130000.00/yr.
