//www.jnj.com/. The Finance Manager, Strategy and Transformation, will set the necessary framework to ensure a successful execution of our global transformation. They will work closely with other members of the Steering Committee and Program Leadership. A strategic business mindset coupled with effective financial tracking is critical for success in the role. The Finance Manager will work closely with a cross-platform team to deliver objectives in improving our competitiveness by elevating our profitability and further accelerating our growth. This position provides high visibility to senior leaders as well an opportunity to impact the execution on our most critical business transformation priorities. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a dynamic, complex, and high-energy setting with frequent interactions with senior leaders. The candidate is able to coordinate and collaborate across the business in a fast-paced environment.
Key Objectives and Responsibilities:
Provide financial guidance to the IM Supply Chain Steering Committee, functions, platforms, and the Network Lead reporting, analytics, and strategic insight generation for transformation initiatives, connecting end-to-end execution across Innovative Medicine Supply Chain and R D to measurable financial impact and enterprise value creation. Develop the financial narrative and strategic insights that connect transformation initiatives to long-term Supply Chain, R D, and enterprise value creation priorities. Support and drive initiatives related to transformation efforts on the end-to-end management of JJIM Gross Margin and overall profitability including Portfolio and Network optimization Provide strategic guidance to Business Partners in assessing impact of initiatives against the business plan and suggest mitigating actions, if needed Partner with Supply Chain Development, Manufacturing & Technical Operations (MTO), Partnerships and External Supply (PES), Network Strategy, Tax Planning, and Innovative Medicine Principal Operations (IMPO) to establish optimized product physical and financial flows Proactively collaborate with Innovative Medicine R D and Commercial finance and business partners to lead finance alignments to ensure investment funding alignment, identify key product cost drivers, applying appropriate accounting standards, and prepare ad hoc scenario analysis Support development of an audit-proof system for transformation-related costs Assist in managing the transformation budget, including the accurate reporting of accounting items Maintain relationship with SC, R D, and Group Finance, including on-time delivery of all required data and providing direction and guidance for the global Transformation Finance community Owns measurements of outcomes and optimization of resources Supporting internal and external audits
Qualifications :
A minimum of a Bachelor's degree required; Master's Degree and/or CPA or CMA is preferred A minimum 5 years of professional experience as a Finance Business Partner, ideally in a global matrix environment is required Experience in supporting high value strategic projects, providing insights and analytics is required Proven history of collaboratively working with colleagues across functional areas to deliver results is required Ability to manage multiple demands and priorities on time, gain alignment and drive decision making is required Advanced knowledge in Financial Planning and Analysis, Budgeting, Forecasting, Cost Accounting, Internal Controls and Worldwide Financial Procedures is required Good verbal and written communication skills, including presentation skills is required Proven track record of driving and executing innovation projects is required Focus on executing and delivering on commitments with high attention to detail is required Problem-solving skills; tenacity to learn, analyze, and resolve complex situations is required Capability to work through ambiguity is required This role has a preferred location in Titusville, NJ, but consideration may be granted for other J&J locations such as Raritan, NJ or Cincinnati, OH. Pay Transparency:
