About the Role We're looking for a Project Manager to own mitigation and contents jobs from first call to final walkthrough. This role is focused on water, fire, smoke, and mold mitigation, along with contents pack-out, inventory, cleaning, and pack-back — you'll be the primary point of contact for the customer, the adjuster, and the crew on every job you run. This is a great fit for someone who wants ownership of their own jobs — you're running the file, driving the timeline, and making sure the scope, the paperwork, and the crew all line up. What You'll Do Manage mitigation jobs start to finish — water, fire, smoke, and mold — including scope, timeline, and crew coordination Oversee contents operations on assigned jobs: pack-out, inventory documentation, cleaning/restoration, storage, and pack-back Perform and verify moisture mapping, drying logs, and equipment placement to ensure jobs dry out to standard Build and manage accurate scope documentation (photos, moisture logs, inventory sheets, Xactimate or similar) Serve as the primary point of contact for customers and adjusters on assigned jobs — communicating timeline, scope changes, and next steps Coordinate technicians on-site to keep jobs moving on schedule and within budget Ensure all mitigation and contents work meets IICRC standards and company documentation requirements Track job status and flag delays, scope changes, or issues to leadership early Support smooth hand-off to reconstruction/repair teams once mitigation is complete
What You Bring Required:
Active IICRC certifications (WRT and/or ASD required; AMRT and FSRT strongly preferred) Hands-on mitigation experience across water, fire, smoke, and mold Contents restoration experience — pack-out, inventory, cleaning, pack-back Comfortable managing your own job load and communicating directly with customers and adjusters Strong documentation habits — moisture logs, photos, scope sheets Valid driver's license and clean driving record Ability to respond to on-call emergency jobs as needed
Preferred:
Prior title of Project Manager, Mitigation Manager, Contents Manager, Lead Tech Experience with TPA's Xactimate or similar estimating software experience Encircle & Mitigate experience Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus What We Offer Competitive pay, based on experience and certifications, performance based incentives through KPI's Company vehicle A real seat at the table — this role is built to grow with the company, not just fill a slot
Pay:
$75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
