What You'll Do As an Operations Lead, you'll play a critical role in keeping Propeller running smoothly and moving forward. Reporting to the Director of Operations, this role blends office leadership, internal project management, and operational support across the firm. You'll serve as the Denver office anchor, support staffing and resourcing efforts across the firm, and act as a project manager for a range of internal initiatives that help our consulting teams do their best work. This is a highly visible, hands-on role for someone who thrives on variety, ownership, and collaboration. Lead Denver Office Operations Serve as the primary point of contact for the Denver office, ensuring a professional, welcoming, and well-run workplace Oversee day-to-day office operations, including vendor management, supplies, facilities coordination, and general logistics Manage office-related budgets with an eye toward cost-effectiveness and employee experience Support onboarding and offboarding for Denver-based employees, helping new hires feel connected to Propeller from day one Partner with People and Operations teams to support local culture, engagement, and events Manage Internal Projects & Initiatives Serve as a project manager for internal projects, including software implementations and firmwide initiatives Includes defining project plans, timelines, and deliverables; developing process maps; track progress and drive accountability Coordinate across teams and leaders to ensure alignment and momentum Prepare updates, materials, and summaries to support decision-making and visibility Proactively identify risks, dependencies, and opportunities to improve execution Support Staffing & Resourcing Operations Support staffing using our staffing tool, helping ensure accurate data, smooth workflows, and clear communication Assist with resourcing coordination, tracking, and reporting across teams Partner with consulting leadership and operations to support capacity planning and internal resourcing initiatives Help maintain process documentation and identify opportunities to improve staffing-related workflows What You'll Bring to the Team A wide variety of backgrounds and experiences may be aligned with the work we do. 3-5 years of relevant experience in operations, project management, office management, or a related role Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities Comfort working with ambiguity and shifting between tactical and strategic work Advanced skills in Microsoft Office; comfort learning new tools Strong communication skills and the ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders Willingness to lean in and support all aspects of the business Availability to work occasional evenings to support events and ensure smooth execution and great experiences Legal authorization to work in the U.S. Nice to have: Experience in a professional services or consulting environment Experience with staffing, resourcing, or capacity planning tools Event planning or office engagement experience Bachelor's degree More About This OpportunityCompensation:
We believe in fairly and equitably compensating our employees for their time, skills, and experience. The hiring base salary range for this position is $82,500 to $102,000, which represents a portion of the role's overall pay range. Individual starting salaries are determined based on factors such as relevant experience, specific skill sets, and internal pay equity. Base pay ranges are reviewed and updated annually, with opportunities for increases based on performance. This role is also eligible for a performance-based bonus, targeted between 4-8% of base salary, based on individual and company performance.
