Our client, a leading Pacific Northwest utility provider committed to public service and environmental preservation, is looking for a Realty Technician 2 for their Portland, Oregon location. In this role, you will support real property and right-of-way activities by assisting with land management case coordination, acquisition documentation, research, and records management. Responsibilities include preparing and maintaining realty files, supporting land use review processes, drafting property-related documents and exhibits, and partnering with realty specialists to support infrastructure and land rights projects across the region. Pay Range:
$30.00•33.25/hr. DOELocation:
Portland, Oregon•HYBRID•2 to 3 days per week onsite. Key Responsibilities for Realty Technician 2: Support real property and right-of-way activities by coordinating land use applications, maintaining case files, and supporting acquisition and land management processes. Conduct preliminary property research using land records, title information, mapping tools, and internal databases to support realty projects and landowner coordination. Draft and prepare acquisition, land management, and real estate-related documents for review by Realty Specialists. Support land use review processes by gathering maps, preparing documentation, and coordinating application tracking within land information systems. Assist with field activities including site visits, landowner meetings, document delivery, property inspections, and collection of field data. Review acquisition and title-related documentation for completeness, formatting accuracy, and compliance with established procedures. Respond to general inquiries from landowners, developers, public agencies, and utility partners regarding right-of-way and land use matters. Utilize internal systems, county records, and mapping tools to track projects, maintain records, and reconcile data discrepancies. Maintain organized records, files, and correspondence in accordance with information governance, records management, and security requirements. Coordinate meetings, calendars, and communications while providing general administrative support including document preparation, reporting, and tracking of action items. Prepare meeting materials, agendas, and notes, and assist with project coordination and follow-up activities. Process application fees and support administrative aspects of real property transactions and project documentation. Requirements/Qualification for Realty Technician 2: High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's Degree preferred. 3+ years of experience in property management, real estate, title review, or a related field. Knowledge of real estate principles, practices, and regulations, including familiarity with government real property procedures. Experience reviewing and working with real estate documents such as deeds, mortgages, liens, title reports, and property records. Understanding of real property services concepts such as surveying, mapping, right-of-way, or realty support services, or experience supporting projects involving these functions. Strong attention to detail with the ability to interpret technical documentation and maintain accurate records. Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools and general data tracking systems. Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to clearly document and explain information. Additional Requirements Valid U.S. Driver's License required.
