08-Sep-2026 Close All Job Summary The Division of Continuing Education at CU Boulder invites applications for a Part-Time Temporary Project Coordinator ! This position reports to the Director of Student Services in the Division of Continuing Education and supports the development and launch of a non-credit program designed to prepare individuals to sit for the International Coaching Federation's Associate Certified Coach (ACC) exam. The Temporary Part-Time Project Coordinator will work closely with the ACC Team, including the Dean of Continuing Education, the Director of Student Services, the Center for Leadership, and the ACC Consultant. Arrange interviews with academic coaches across campus to help inform the development of the Academic Coaching track. Perform the initial landscape analysis of existing Level I programs, and help the ICF team identify the top 5 they would like to learn from. Schedule informational interviews between AAC Consultant and existing Level 1 program directors. Conduct a literature review and monitor publicly available ICF documentation to identify current standard methodologies and ICF requirements.Program Architecture:
Recommend and/or develop hour-tracking and attendance compliance structures for Canvas or other University systems to ensure their inclusion in the program architecture. Coordinate with Program Manager for CE Extraordinary to build non-credit course in Campus Solutions and to establish application and enrollment process. Support Academic Coaching Emphasis Track Instructor and other academic coaches on campus to design and develop the Academic Coaching Emphasis Track structure.This includes support with:
Conducting research on existing academic coaching competency frameworks. Gathering insights from those currently conducting academic coaching at the University and others in academic affairs, student success offices, and advising centers to inform what academic coaching looks like and could look like on campus. Creating a University-specific academic coaching competency framework. Collaborating closely with the AAC Consultant to ensure both seamless integration into the overall ICF Level I offering and alignment with emerging ICF guidance on niche tracks associated with Level 1 programs.Delivery-Ready Curriculum & Near-Submission Ready ICF Accreditation Application Package:
Engage the Academic Coaching Track team to contribute curriculum, in-class resources, draft module outlines, learning objectives, assignments and activities, etc, for the Academic Coaching Emphasis Track, working in close collaboration with ACC Consultant. Collaborate with Academic Coaching Emphasis Track Instructor and Learning Design Group to develop course materials, Canvas modules, and attendance and completion tracking infrastructure required for ICF Level I program documentation. Work with AAC Team to complete non-curricular aspects of the ICF Accreditation Application Package. Engage with ICF to ensure submission of the application and any necessary follow-up.Internal Alignment & Planning Meetings:
Arrange meetings and coordinate calendars with CU Boulder staff and ACC Consultant to establish regular alignment meetings approximately every 2 weeks from September 2026 through March 2027. Take the lead on administrative preparation and follow-up for these meetings, including agenda creation, meeting facilitation, and capturing pertinent notes and next steps. Draft routine correspondence with ICF, particularly around the accreditation application process, copying ACC Consultant as appropriate. Work with Marketing & Communications department to develop web content and promote the course. What You Should Know This is a part-time, temporary position that is anticipated to last six (6) months. The anticipated work modality for this position is Hybrid, may be required to come to campus for meetings. What We Can Offer The hourly rate for this part-time position is $30.00. What We Require Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution. Three years of professional-related experience in a higher education setting. What You Will Need Passion for working with students, specifically students in academic difficulty. Sensitivity to and appreciation of cultural, political, and geographical differences, with the ability to work well with faculty, staff, and students from around the world. Demonstrated commitment and leadership ability to advance diversity, inclusion, and social justice. Willingness to advocate for students when their situations fall outside the campus norms. Ability to communicate effectively, both in writing and verbally. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees at all levels throughout the institution. Outstanding customer service skills. Demonstrated ability to work as a member of a team and within a collaborative work environment. Exceptional organizational, planning, analytical, creative problem solving, and technical skills. Exceptional attention to detail. Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple requests. What We Would Like You to Have Master's Degree in higher education, instructional design, or a related field. Experience with project management. 3+ years of experience serving as an academic coach or academic advisor. Experience and familiarity with University of Colorado systems. Experience developing course content in Canvas. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Experience working collaboratively with various campus partners. Multicultural competence and experience working with a diverse student population. Exceptional organizational skills. Teaching experience.
