Job Description:
PMO Analyst - Boston, MA We are seeking an experienced Project Management Oversight Analyst to support a large IT organization within a leading financial services firm located in Boston, MA. This individual will be responsible for overseeing project data, financials, resources, vendor agreements, and program reporting while partnering closely with project teams and cross-functional stakeholders. This is a 6-month contract position that will pay $40-42/hr (depending on experience) within a 40-hour workweek. This position supports a hybrid work model in their Boston office.
Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date core data across projects within the program. Collaborate with project teams to define, track, and maintain deliverables and status reporting. Monitor project financials and budgets to ensure initiatives remain within approved funding. Support hiring approvals, resource forecasting, and allocation of resources across projects. Facilitate fixed-price contracts and ensure proper setup within the vendor management system. Manage fixed-price and time-and-material contract renewals. Maintain accurate team rosters and resource information. Track software licenses and vendor agreements from initial procurement through renewal. Participate in the annual and ongoing budgeting process. Conduct ad hoc resource, financial, and project analysis as needed. Partner with various areas of the organization to ensure program objectives and deliverables are met.
Qualifications:
3-5 years of experience in Program Management Oversight, preferably within a large IT organization. Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate across different areas of an organization. Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience working with data and financial analysis. Experience with Clarity (Program Management), Beeline (Vendor Management), and Oracle Purchasing is a plus.
