We are focused on residential work (new homes, multi family, remodels, additions), however about 15% of our current work is in education and commercial. PROJECT ARCHITECT

who is a detail oriented (i.e. obsessive) person with strong real-world experience in Type V construction, building codes, permitting, quality control, developing construction details and documents, product research and specifications. We very strongly prefer experience with ArchiCAD (our CAD platform), but we can consider training as well. Candidates should be on a path to licensure (or licensed). Minimum 5 years of experience preferred. Real world experience with wood construction and working with CA codes and building departments is required. We offer vacation, holidays and matching IRA contributions. Hours are flexible, but expectation is 40 hours per week. This is an in-office position, but 4/1 hybrid is OK.
