This is a junior-level, operational, delivery-focused role dedicated to driving project execution across multiple teams. Working under the high-level governance and strategic oversight of the Project and Portfolio Manager, you will be assigned to a dedicated portfolio of functional DOF teams. In this role, you will act as a liaison across multiple teams, bridge communication gaps between business and technical stakeholders, drive accountability and execution of projects, and remove roadblocks to ensure project milestones stay on schedule. We are looking for a self-motivated individual who genuinely enjoys learning and is eager to expand their operational skillsets. You should feel comfortable asking questions whenever you need clarity, and be ready to approach follow-up conversations gently to help keep others accountable. Key Responsibilities Principal Duties:
Facilitate Daily Standups & Jira Boards:
Lead routine team meetings and maintain the accuracy of task workflows, ticket tracking, and Jira project boards.
Coordinate Cross-Team Dependencies:
Act as the primary operational liaison between distinct functional and technical teams to track meeting action items, follow up on commitments, and manage shared timelines.
Identify Roadblocks & Risks:
Proactively flag, document, and escalate day-to-day delivery bottlenecks, operational impediments, or schedule risks to project leadership. Support Scaled Agile (SAFe)
Ceremonies:
Coordinate, facilitate, and participate in Agile framework events and multi-team planning intervals, including Program Increment (PI) and Sprint planning sessions.
Draft & Maintain Project Documentation:
Partner directly with functional and technical teams to write project documentation, compile status updates, and organize shared digital document repositories.
Ensure Process Governance:
Verify that team activities and technical deliverables conform to established agency procurement procedures, security protocols, and standard project management office (PMO) processes.
Manage Shifting Priorities:
Work closely with the Project and Portfolio Manager and teams to adjust Jira boards, update documentation, and help communicate timeline changes when priorities shift.

Actively engage with and shadow team members, embrace constructive feedback as a tool for professional growth, and constantly look for ways to expand your project management toolkit.
Qualifications Minimum Qualifications:
Basic understanding of project management lifecycles and Agile/Scrum frameworks, including exposure to or a willingness to learn how to facilitate team meetings (such as daily standups or sprint planning). Hands-on experience or familiarity using Jira to monitor, update, and track task statuses.
Basic Documentation & Reporting Skills:
Ability to compile project details into clear written formats, such as drafting basic project charters, taking structured meeting minutes, or gathering data for routine status reports. Strong organizational skills, with a demonstrated capacity to systematically follow up on action items, manage daily deadlines, and balance competing priorities. Strong interpersonal skills, experience working with diverse teams and acting as a reliable liaison between teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience participating in or supporting large-scale planning intervals, such as Program Increment (PI) planning sessions or cross-team dependency mapping. Previous experience working within a business finance department, accounting team, or state agency environment, bringing a basic familiarity with financial workflows or government processes. Proven experience independently steering small-group meetings, technical workshops, or team syncs, with a strong ability to keep discussions on track and drive teams toward actionable next steps. Prior experience working directly alongside, supporting, or shadowing a Project Manager, Scrum Master, or Team Lead, providing a practical understanding of project rhythms and team dynamics. Experience organizing and maintaining team collaboration spaces or document repositories to ensure project artifacts, charters, and meeting notes are organized and easily accessible.
