Project Coordinator Job Description The Project Manager will lead the customer-facing portion of projects after the sale, ensuring smooth handoff, execution, and delivery. This role works closely with engineering, operations, and customer service to coordinate orders, manage schedules, and maintain clear communication with all stakeholders. The position is a key hire that collaborates across all departments to drive successful project outcomes in an engineering and manufacturing-focused environment. Responsibilities Own the customer-facing portion of projects after the sale and serve as a primary point of contact throughout project execution. Collaborate closely with engineering, operations, and customer service to ensure seamless project handoffs and alignment on scope, timelines, and deliverables. Put together customer orders accurately, ensuring all technical and commercial details are complete and correct. Oversee order fulfillment activities, monitoring progress and resolving issues to keep orders on track. Create, maintain, and manage detailed project schedules, including key milestones, deadlines, and dependencies. Coordinate project activities across internal teams to ensure timely completion of tasks and deliverables. Perform regular follow-ups with internal stakeholders and customers to track progress, address questions, and clarify requirements. Communicate project status clearly and professionally to customers and internal teams, including risks, changes, and next steps. Organize project documentation, including specifications, schedules, and order details, to ensure information is accurate and accessible. Proactively identify potential issues or delays and work with cross-functional teams to develop and implement solutions. Support engineering and manufacturing teams by clarifying customer needs, technical requirements, and project priorities. Contribute to continuous improvement of project management processes, tools, and communication practices. Demonstrate strong self-management by prioritizing tasks, managing multiple projects simultaneously, and meeting deadlines. Leverage project management best practices to improve efficiency and consistency across projects. Essential Skills Minimum of 3 years of experience in project management or project coordination. Proven experience putting together orders and managing order fulfillment processes. Experience with scheduling and follow-ups in a project or operations environment. Strong project management and project coordination skills. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interface effectively with customers and internal teams. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously. Self-starter with the ability to work independently and take ownership of projects. Experience working in an engineering or manufacturing environment is preferred. Bachelor's degree in Engineering is preferred. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with automated equipment is a plus. PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is a plus. Familiarity with AutoCAD and SolidWorks is preferred. Experience or exposure to electrical, software, or controls is preferred. Previous experience as a project coordinator or project engineer in an industrial equipment manufacturing environment is highly desired. Work Environment The role is based in an office hybrid work environment within an engineering and manufacturing-focused setting. The typical schedule offers flexibility, with the option to work four 10-hour days with one hybrid (work-from-home) day, or a five-day on-site schedule with two days from home. The position involves regular collaboration with engineering, operations, and customer service teams and requires comfort working with technical information and industrial equipment-related projects. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Aurora, CO. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $45.00/hr.
