Job Description

The Project Management Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day operations of Project Managers and Outage Planners, facilitating professional growth among team members, and reporting metrics and statuses to the Program Manager and the customer. The Project Management Supervisor provides leadership and direction to their direct reports and ensures that all projects meet their Cost, Quality and Timing metrics. They will also be responsible for helping to grow the business and execute the current work-flow. This shall include strategy contributions with the Program Manager regarding market evaluations and developing solutions for new and existing clients. Primary Duties and Responsibilities Oversee project managers and outage planners Provide leadership and training in Project Management to the department and provide one-on-one mentorship and training as needed Establish, monitor, and maintain quality control standards for Cost, Quality and Timing metrics Monitor and communicate project portfolio health Hold teams accountable to project baselines; make sure change orders and/or revisions are addressed in a timely manner when appropriate and necessary Work with internal Project Management Teams as well as customer to drive business processes to make sure workflow and workload is efficient and effective Determine customer's needs and work with customer and internal team to make sure processes run smoothly Works with Project Controls Supervisor to ensure team utilization and support meet business needs Distribute workflow from customer to Project Management Teams Interface, and be the liaison, with the customer on problems and inefficiencies Resolve problems that arise on invoicing, resourcing, and staffing Work out resolutions to disagreements between customer and internal team on processes and issues Proactively pursue solutions regarding personnel issues including hiring, firing, promotions, demotions, attendance issues, scheduling and performance reviews Utilize Microsoft Office and customer-specific software/applications to complete all tasks Drive development and training of team and help determine potential training needs Manages small portfolio of projects to stay aligned with business process, and manages overflow in interim need People management duties (timecard approvals, goal setting, performance reviews, etc.) Education and Experience Requirements Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Accounting, or Business Six years of experience in scheduling, project controls, project coordination, or project management in capital projects Six years of experience interfacing with engineering, construction, planning, and project management Requisite Abilities and Skills Demonstrated leadership skills managing large teams of diverse skill sets Demonstrated understanding of project controls and project management Excellent written and oral communication skills Customer focused Desire to develop self and others: technically, professionally and personally Clearly understands the value of supporting and managing diversity in the workplace High level of personal character and integrity Team player with ability to work in a highly cross-functional and virtual environment Highly proficient in PC applications- MS Office suite of tools a must Critical thinking that drives risk and quality management Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of New Albany, OH. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $60.10 - $72.11/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
