Job Description
Remote Project Manager (00594) PMA Consultants LLC $112,649.00 - $132,363.00 / yr 401(k) United States, Virginia, Dulles Aug 10, 2026 PMA has an opening for a Project Manager to manage large scale Aviation redevelopment construction projects at Dulles Airport. This role reports to the Program Director and is responsible for project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and stakeholder coordination. The PM ensures successful delivery in alignment with scope, cost, and timeline objectives. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator and problem-solver who can manage multiple priorities, mentor junior staff, and uphold PMA's reputation for excellence in project management consulting. Organizational Responsibilities Direct day-to-day construction project planning and execution to meet design, schedule, and financial goals.
Oversee site supervision, contractor coordination, and reporting during construction and closeout phases.
Lead development of project scopes, objectives, schedules, and budgets.
Manage QA/QC processes, coordinate design team site visits, and issue resolution.
Interface with owners, end users, and community stakeholders to ensure smooth execution and communication.
Supervise and coordinate third-party testing agencies and subconsultants.
Identify and manage project risks, change orders, and schedule deviations.
Support contract administration with architects, engineers, and contractors.
Facilitate client meetings, produce meeting minutes, and track project progress.
Develop progress reports, presentations, and documentation to support project goals.
Other duties as assigned. Position Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or related field required.
5+ years of progressive project management experience in the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry required.
Aviation project experience strongly preferred.
Experience in engineering scope development, contract management, due diligence, and project initiation required.
Experience managing complex schedules and budgets in a client-facing role required.
Experience in all levels of the project life cycle, including design review, procurement, proposal development, scheduling, cost controls, risk analysis, and change orders preferred.
Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Primavera P6 or equivalent required.
An equivalent combination of education, experience, and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities will be considered in lieu of stated minimum qualifications. The salary range for this position is $112,649 to $132,363.
A hired employee will be placed within this salary range based on a variety of legitimate business reasons, including but not limited to the individual's scope of relevant experience and geographic location.
