Job Description
This Project Manager leads mid to large, high-priority projects that may impact multiple lines of business and functional areas. The role takes projects from concept through implementation using standard project, change, and risk management practices, sets expectations with diverse stakeholders through planning, and maintains transparency through communication and reporting. The Project Manager builds trusted-advisor relationships and should have experience working in Cybersecurity, Governance, and Risk Management.
Essential Job Functions
Lead one or more projects in a fast-paced environment, including coordinating third-party resources and virtual teams; projects may have executive sponsorship and committees and can span multiple years.
Partner with business leaders to define scope and manage scope changes, objectives, requirements, deliverables, and the value proposition for multiple stakeholders.
Develop and manage integrated project plans, dependencies, critical paths, milestones, and status reporting while adhering to policy standards and addressing impacts to client experience.
Coordinate delivery across methodologies (waterfall, agile, etc.) and work effectively with different project types.
Lead communication planning, execution, and reporting; liaise with key stakeholders.
Develop and execute change management plans including communications and training.
Identify, track, escalate, and resolve issues and risks; perform impact analysis and prioritization; implement corrective/mitigating actions.
Support business case development, initiation activities, and project checkpoints to drive delivery and remove bottlenecks.
Gather estimates, track utilization, assess staffing/vendor needs, support onboarding/offboarding as needed, and monitor vendor performance.
Manage overall project financials including forecasting and budgeting; facilitate budget requests as needed.
Manage documentation and knowledge transfer to business-as-usual teams; conduct lessons-learned reviews.
Required Qualifications
Education/Certifications:
Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) required; PMP (or equivalent) preferred.
Experience:
5+ years of project management experience required.
