We're looking for motivated, dependable, and driven individuals to join our team as Roofing Sales Representatives / Project Managers. At Pintail, we believe in doing business differently. Responsibilities Generate new business through networking, referrals, prospecting, and relationship building. Conduct residential and commercial roof inspections to identify storm damage, aging materials, and necessary repairs. Educate homeowners on roofing systems, repair options, replacement recommendations, and available solutions. Assist homeowners throughout the insurance claims process, including coordinating inspections and communicating with adjusters when appropriate. Prepare and present professional estimates and proposals for roofing, gutters, fencing, and exterior renovation projects. Maintain consistent communication with homeowners from initial inspection through project completion. Coordinate with Pintail's production and project management teams to ensure projects are completed efficiently and professionally. Develop relationships with homeowners, real estate professionals, insurance agents, property managers, and other referral partners. Maintain accurate customer records, project updates, and sales activity. Represent Pintail Roofing Company with professionalism, honesty, and integrity. Qualifications Previous roofing, construction, insurance, or outside sales experience preferred but not required. Strong communication, customer service, and relationship-building skills. Self-motivated with the ability to manage your own schedule and sales pipeline. Comfortable meeting homeowners, conducting inspections, and presenting estimates. Willingness to learn roofing systems, construction practices, and insurance restoration processes. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license. Comfortable working outdoors and safely accessing roofs when qualified and properly equipped. Ability to work independently while collaborating with our team. Our compensation structure includes:
Competitive 50/50 gross profit commission split on qualifying projects. Uncapped earning potential based on individual sales production. Typical project gross profits range from $6,000-$10,000, depending on scope and project costs. Potential commission earnings of $3,000-$5,000 or more per project based on those typical gross profit ranges. Opportunities to generate additional income through roofing, repairs, gutters, fencing, and renovation projects. Opportunity for advancement into sales leadership and management positions as the company expands. For example, a representative producing $750,000 in annual sales at a 35% gross profit margin could earn approximately $131,250 in annual commissions under a 50/50 split.
