Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Transportation Project Manager to lead and execute complex projects. In this role, you will drive project success by applying proven project management methodologies, facilitating collaboration among team members, and ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Your energetic leadership will inspire teams to meet deadlines, keep project leads updated and deliver high-quality outcomes. This position offers an exciting opportunity to shape program development, optimize processes, and foster continuous improvement through innovative practices such as Lean, Six Sigma, and Agile frameworks. Responsibilities Lead end-to-end project planning, scheduling, and execution using tools MS Excel or Smartsheet to ensure timely delivery of project milestones. Develop comprehensive project scopes by gathering detailed requirements through requirements analysis and requirements management processes. Facilitate cross-functional meetings to coordinate efforts, resolve conflicts, and promote effective communication among stakeholders. Apply risk management strategies to identify potential issues early and develop mitigation plans aligned with the project management lifecycle. Utilize project management software to monitor progress and report on key performance indicators regularly. Lead program development initiatives by designing scalable solutions that align with strategic objectives while managing scope changes effectively. Foster a culture of continuous improvement by implementing change management strategies and promoting team management best practices. Requirements Proven experience supervising transportation project teams in a fast-paced environment with strong leadership capabilities in project leadership and team management. Demonstrated expertise in program development, program design, scope management, time management, and schedule control. Strong skills in data analysis skills such as data collection and root cause analysis to inform decision-making processes Excellent communication skills with the ability to facilitate meetings effectively and present complex information clearly through technical writing and presentation skills. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and adhering to deadlines.
