• to be based in our Aiken, SC location on the Savannah River Site. This
• Project Manager
• provides leadership and execution of multiple engineering, technical and/or capital projects to meet the strategic objectives of the prime contract. + This is a multi-level posting. The candidate selected to receive an offer will be offered the position level commensurate with their experience and qualifications.
• Responsibilities
• Responsibilities of Project Manager C
• (Salary Level 70) + Establishes multi-function project management team(s) for basic and/or moderately complex projects including regulatory compliance, design, construction, project controls, procurement, estimating, start-up and turnover; and/or acts as a Project Management Associate and/or Coordinator for a Project Manager.

+ Manages established project costs, schedules, and technical baselines and provides effective management of project staff and matrix personnel to control baselines. + Provides concise and accurate oral and written presentations to internal and external customers regarding project implementation plans, status, changes and new approaches; including complex technical, organizational and financial issues. + Conducts complex analyses of problems involving numerous engineering disciplines. Develops innovative alternative action strategies enabling the early achievement of milestones. Performs risk analyses and provides decision authority for defining and approving corrective actions and establishing priorities. + Manages project efforts to ensure project progress is within schedule, cost, technical, environmental, and legal baselines. Ensures timely submittal of all required progress and status reports. + Provides project coordination and work window management to ensure the project progresses on schedule. • Additional Responsibilities of Project Manager B
• (Salary Level 71) + Acts as a technical project management advisor to assigned project management teams, peers, senior management, and external customers
• Additional Responsibilities of Project Manager A
• (Salary Level 72) + Establishes numerous diverse project management teams for complex projects providing policy direction, broad program direction, and establishing priorities needed to integrate numerous ongoing area projects. + Manages project cost, schedule, scope, and subcontract matrices, while adhering to Site quality, environmental, and safety objectives.
• Qualifications
• + Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline and relevant experience.

• Preferred Qualifications
• + Thorough knowledge of the principles and methods of multiple engineering disciplines including design and construction in addition to business disciplines such as procurement, planning, scheduling, cost/budget control + Considerable knowledge of DOE Orders and Regulations as well as industry codes and standards with emphasis in National Environmental Policy Act, Resource Conservation and Recovery Act, Comprehensive Environmental Response, and Compensation and Liability Act + Clear understanding of work hazards, safety programs, environmental law, legal and business concepts + Previous direct supervisory experience + Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification + Six Sigma Yellow Belt Certification + Earned Value Management System (ANSI/EIA 748) experience; qualified Cost Account Manager + Experience working at a nuclear site/facility + Technical Master's degree in engineering, project management, construction management or related field and experience.

• Minimum Pay
• USD $104,000.00/Yr.
• Maximum Pay
• USD $175,000.00/Yr.
