  • Monday-Friday; 8:00am-5:00pm This role is remote; however, due to project needs, occasional on-site attendance will be required to support project execution and collaboration. Must reside in California.
  • Purpose Statement/Position Summary:
  • The Strategic Research Initiatives team is seeking a Project Manager to support the execution of Research Operations strategic initiatives.
This role will help advance key priorities by combining strategic project management, governance support, and reporting and analytics transformation. The ideal candidate will bring a balanced skill set—pairing structured project delivery with a hands-on, operational mindset—and the ability to translate business needs into actionable, data-driven insights. This position plays a critical role in driving the adoption of new processes, tools, and reporting capabilities while collaborating closely with leadership and cross-functional stakeholders. The Project Manager is responsible for leading project execution to ensure high-quality, timely, and cost-effective results. Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining project plans and timelines; coordinating internal and external resources; conducting research and analysis; and tracking and documenting project progress. This role also supports HR-related initiatives, handling sensitive information with discretion to help shape and implement effective management policies.
  • Minimum Qualifications/Work Experience:
  • + 5+ years of progressive experience required; project management experience in health care preferred.
+ Demonstrated ability to determine key business issues and develop appropriate action plans from multi disciplinary perspectives. + Demonstrated ability to conduct and interpret quantitative and qualitative analyses. + The majority of work will be conducted remotely and involves significant screen time for virtual meetings. At times, in-person participation will be necessary to lead meetings and support project delivery. + This position requires a highly motivated, self-directed individual who can work independently while collaborating with and receiving guidance from the Strategic Research Initiatives Manager. + Candidates must be based in California and able to travel to the Los Angeles campus for up to four meetings per month.
  • Preferred:
  • + PMP or similar project management certification.
+ Experience working directly with senior leadership or executive stakeholders, including preparing materials for executive review and facilitating decision-making discussions. + Experience leading cross-functional initiatives and supporting change management and adoption efforts. + Experience supporting data, reporting, or analytics transformation initiatives, including familiarity with Power BI or similar tools. + Proficiency in Microsoft tools (SharePoint, MS project, MS Teams, Planner, Power Automate, Power Point, and Excel).
  • Education/Licensure/Certification:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Health Care Administration, or other related field required.

  • $90,334.40-$120,432.00

Final determination of a successful candidate's starting pay will vary based on a number of factors, including, but not limited to, education and experience within the job or the industry. The pay scale listed for this position is generally for candidates who meet the specified qualifications and requirements listed on this specific job description. Additional pay may be determined for those candidates who exceed these specified qualifications and requirements.
