Seeking an experienced Project Manager to support business readiness and execution for a portfolio of large-scale initiatives within a financial services organization. This is a business-side Project Management role, not a technical Project Manager position . The ideal candidate has 5-7+ years of experience managing complex, cross-functional initiatives and is highly skilled in detailed project planning, stakeholder coordination, dependency management, governance, and executive reporting. This individual will partner with approximately 10-15 internal and external stakeholders, including technology vendors, to ensure initiatives remain organized, risks and dependencies are addressed, and the business is prepared for upcoming changes.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

Coordinate business readiness activities supporting large-scale technology and portfolio initiatives Develop and maintain detailed project plans, workplans, timelines, milestones, and dependencies Track risks, issues, action items, deliverables, and cross-functional dependencies Coordinate across 10-15 internal and external stakeholders and ensure timely follow-up Prepare project status updates, governance materials, and executive-level reporting Partner with business, technology, management, and external vendor teams throughout project execution Identify potential blockers and proactively drive projects back on track Support resource planning, project requirements, feasibility assessments, and cost considerations Operate independently while maintaining a high level of organization and attention to detail

Minimum Requirements:

5-7+ years of Project Management experience , primarily supporting business rather than technical/engineering teams Bachelor's degree Experience managing complex, cross-functional projects and business-readiness initiatives Strong project planning, governance, dependency management, and executive reporting experience Experience coordinating multiple stakeholders, workstreams, and external vendors Strong proficiency with Microsoft Project, PowerPoint, Word, and Visio Exceptional attention to detail, organization, communication, and follow-through Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities Ability to work onsite in

PMP or PMI certification Financial services, banking, retirement, asset management, or other regulated-industry experience Experience supporting business readiness for technology implementations, transformations, or system changes Experience partnering with external technology vendors
