$81,255.00 - $121,935.00 POSITION SUMMARY:
The Project Manager I is crucial in assisting in planning, coordinating, and providing support and delivery of various procedures, projects, and implementations within the organization. The Project Manager I will work closely with management and experienced team members assisting with projects through the entire project lifecycle and effectively learning and applying the established project management methodology. The Project Manager l assists experienced team members in working closely with internal and external stakeholders, product owners, and clients to gather business requirements and determine project scope and resource needs to ensure successful implementation of WRG products or services. The Project Manager I assists in creating comprehensive action plans concerning resources and timeframes for projects, providing assistance from start to finish, improving progress, and ensuring project governance is adhered to and adequately documented as outlined by the Project Management Office (PMO). Strong analytical and leadership skills are essential for building relationships with credit unions, vendors, and staff and for developing programs that enhance member service and client satisfaction. ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS
Perform key tasks in conversion, migrations, disaster recovery, third-party vendor changes, and implementation efforts for new Wescom Resources (WRG) clients. When working with the WRG client base and vendors, communicate and model the credit union's service-focused culture and vision and ensure its application to CUSO operations. Assist in the planning, coordinating, and executing of migrations, conversions, disaster recovery setup or testing, third-party vendors, or WRG software implementation project activities under the guidance of management or senior team members. Participate and assist in managing the initiate, plan, execute, control, and close phases of projects. Oversee the day-to-day aspects of assigned projects regarding scope, schedule, quality, and resources. Help track project interdependencies, milestones, and deliverables. Communicate project risks to the appropriate stakeholders, management, and the PMO on time. Collaborates alongside management or Senior Project Managers, internal departments, clients, and third-party vendors to develop a detailed understanding of business and user needs. Consult with technical or functional experts to document requirements. Works with project stakeholders or owners to design the goals, success markers, and measurements. Help ensure the appropriate support resources are included early on in projects for appropriate resource allocation. Participates in ensuring all new processes, including connections with clients' third-party vendors and WRG software implementations, are adequately tested through established quality control processes to maximize the positive impact on our clients. Works collaboratively with other project managers, teams, and clients to ensure mutual attainment of goals and adequate cross-divisional support. Conducts research within the credit union and externally to support WRG's needs. Liaising with project stakeholders concerning project details and deliverables, analyzing data as required, conducting administrative duties, such as setting up meetings, tracking and reporting project progress, and performing other duties assigned by the Senior Project Manager. Contribute and prepare the documentation of projects or implementations of new and current processes, products, procedures, third-party vendors, enhancements, and best practices. Must be able to effectively communicate verbally and in written form to all levels of the credit union, clients, and vendors and provide project updates to the PMO as required. Facilitate communication and collaboration among project team members and conduct post-project evaluations to identify lessons learned and recommend and document process improvements. EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
High School graduate. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is preferred. Previous financial industry, operations, and customer service experience preferred. Strong written and oral communication skills. Excellent multitasking and organization skills. Ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision. Must be detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills. COMPUTER SKILLS
Proficient in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, Office 365, Teams). Must be proficient in technology applications including the Credit Union's operating system and specialized software required for performance of position. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rates, ratios, and percentages. PHYSICAL DEMANDS
