Hybrid Clariant is seeking a Project Manager to support the Engineering and Process Technology business unit. This role will lead and execute capital projects across Clariant's North American (NORAM) manufacturing sites by managing projects from concept through completion while ensuring alignment with safety, quality, cost, schedule, regulatory requirements, and Clariant engineering standards. This hybrid position can be based in Louisville, KY; The Woodlands, TX; or Mt. Holly, NC and requires approximately 30-50% domestic travel across the NORAM region. The Project Manager will oversee multiple, multimillion dollar CAPEX projects, while collaborating with cross-functional teams including engineering, procurement, operations, manufacturing, contractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities Lead and execute capital projects across Clariant's North American manufacturing sites from concept through completion, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and in alignment with business objectives.

Manage multiple CAPEX projects simultaneously, typically ranging from $1MM to $50MM+ in value, including scope development, budgeting, scheduling, execution, commissioning, and project closeout.

Develop and maintain project plans, capital estimates, budgets, schedules, risk assessments, and project documentation, including accurate completion of Capital Acquisition Requests (CARs).

Provide leadership and direction to cross-functional project teams, including engineering, procurement, controlling, operations, manufacturing personnel, contractors, suppliers, and external engineering partners.

Partner with internal stakeholders and third-party resources to drive project execution, resolve issues, manage risks, and ensure successful project outcomes.

Support engineering activities including feasibility studies, technical evaluations, equipment selection, vendor assessments, bid analyses, purchase requisitions, and factory acceptance testing.

Ensure projects comply with Clariant engineering standards, applicable permits, regulatory requirements, quality expectations, and environmental, health, and safety requirements.

Lead and support process risk analyses, promote safe work practices, and ensure implementation of corrective actions throughout the project lifecycle.

Provide project reporting, track key performance metrics, and support successful implementation, commissioning, start-up, and project closure activities. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Engineering required; Chemical or Mechanical Engineering strongly preferred

Minimum of 3 years of professional project management experience, with experience leading CAPEX projects in a chemical process manufacturing environment

Experience managing engineering teams, contractors, suppliers, and cross-functional project resources

Ability and willingness to travel approximately 30-50% domestically

Lean/Six Sigma Green Belt certification is a plus
