Job Description

Project Manager (Onsite in Denver, CO) FYI - For Your Information, Inc. is an SBA certified, Woman-Owned Small Business and GSA schedule holder that is a premier provider of Human Capital, Training, and Information Technology services. Position is contingent upon contract award.
Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with at least eight years of federal HR operations project management experience to serve as the single point of contact overseeing all aspects of contract performance, staffing, and service delivery. The ideal candidate manages milestones, budgets, risk, and quality assurance while coordinating closely with Government CORs and program leadership to ensure compliance with federal regulations, contract requirements, and performance expectations across all workstreams.
Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive contract reporting, including status reports, performance metrics, risk updates, and staffing summaries to the Government on a recurring basis.
  • Address Government concerns promptly, ensuring all questions, issues, and requests for information are acknowledged, analyzed, and resolved in a timely, professional manner.
  • Manage milestones and deadlines across all workstreams to ensure timely delivery of contract requirements and fulfillment of all performance obligations.
  • Serve as the single point of contact (POC) for communicating staffing changes, onboarding timelines, and impacts to service delivery or operational efficiency.
  • Oversee budget management, tracking expenditures, forecasting future resource needs, and ensuring alignment with contract funding and limitations.
  • Develop and maintain the project management plan, documenting scope, schedule, risks, quality controls, and communication strategies that guide daily operations.
  • Coordinate closely with Government CORs and program leadership, ensuring alignment on priorities, expectations, and interpretation of contract requirements.
  • Monitor vendor staff performance, validating qualifications, ensuring coverage for all functional areas, and addressing performance issues that may affect service quality.
  • Implement risk management practices, identifying potential risks to delivery, maintaining a risk register, and proactively proposing mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with federal regulations, HR policy requirements, agency-specific procedures, and contract terms throughout all service areas.
  • Facilitate issue resolution across systems and processes, partnering with Government stakeholders and vendor technical experts to troubleshoot and resolve operational challenges.
  • Oversee quality assurance and quality control, ensuring all work products meet required standards, performance measures, and service level expectations.
  • Manage change control processes, documenting, assessing, and coordinating Government approval for scope changes, staffing adjustments, or revised workflows.
  • Lead regular status meetings, prepare agendas, track action items, and ensure effective communication between vendor teams and Government personnel.
  • Support transition planning, including transition-in and transition-out activities, ensuring continuity of operations and documenting institutional knowledge as required.
Required:
  • Three to five years of experience providing independent HR support and services in any HR functional area (e.g. staffing, classification, employee benefits, employee relations, information systems, policy development); experience serving as a project lead, collaborating with others to effectively implement the project objectives.
  • Minimum of eight (8) years of experience in managing projects directly relating to Federal Human Resources Operations.
  • Minimum of Five (5) years of supervisory experience, in a lead or management role, with a demonstrated success in the ability to staff and lead/manage technically oriented projects and personnel.
Experience in formulating work standards, assigning contractor schedules and resources, reviewing performance, cost, and budget information; supervising contractor personnel; and communicating policies, purposes, and goals of the organization to subordinates.
