Project Manager (Part-Time / Project-Based) High Note Technologies Manhattan Beach, CA Job Details Part-time | Contract $36.52 - $60.19 an hour 19 hours ago Benefits Flexible schedule Qualifications CPR Certification Customer communication Construction specifications OSHA 10 Occupational Safety And Health Administration Outreach Training Program 30-Hour First Aid Certification Organizational skills Managing projects Full Job Description Job Overview High Note Technologies is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee construction projects across commercial, multifamily, and clean-energy scopes, including electrical installations, EV charging infrastructure, tenant improvements, upgrades, and maintenance work. Projects vary in size and complexity and may involve multiple stakeholders, fast timelines, and active job sites. This role is intended for a hands-on, self-directed PM who can manage diverse project types without excessive oversight. Core Responsibilities
  • Manage projects from award through closeout, including: o Scope review and clarification o Schedule development, tracking, and updates o Budget awareness and cost control
  • Serve as primary point of contact for clients, property managers, and consultants
  • Coordinate internal staff, foremen, subcontractors, and vendors
  • Review plans, specifications, proposals, and change requests for scope alignment
  • Track and manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project correspondence
  • Coordinate material procurement and long-lead items
  • Monitor field progress through job walks, reports, and direct communication with field leadership
  • Identify risks, conflicts, and scope gaps early and implement corrective actions
  • Maintain organized project documentation and records
  • Support closeout activities including punchlists, as-builts, warranties, and final documentation Required Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a Project Manager in commercial or technical construction
  • Strong understanding of construction workflows, preferably within electrical or infrastructure trades
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and schedules
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • High level of organization, accountability, and follow-through
  • Ability to manage multiple active projects concurrently
  • Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision Preferred Certifications & Experience
  • OSHA-10 or OSHA-30
  • First Aid / CPR certification
  • Experience managing electrical, EV, or clean-energy projects
  • Familiarity with permitting, inspections, and utility coordination
  • Experience working with hybrid or remote project teams
  • Exposure to project management or document-control platforms Work Structure & Expectations

  • Compensation structured as hourly, salary, or per-project
  • Hybrid work environment (remote + jobsite as required)
