Project Manager (Sustaining)

Hybrid or Onsite Stryker is hiring a Project Manager - Sustaining, based in Mahwah NJ to support Joint replacement! In this role, you will lead cross-functional project teams to plan and execute sustaining workstreams - owning scope, schedules, budgets, risks, and stakeholder alignment. What You Will Do Partner with project stakeholders to define, refine, and align on project scope and objectives. Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, including detailed work breakdown structures (WBS), integrated schedules, Gantt charts, critical path analysis, and key workstreams. Lead project execution by tracking scope, schedule, cost, and quality, and proactively managing trade‑offs and changes Collaborate with cross-functional teams and subject matter experts to establish budget requirements, and monitor and manage costs to ensure alignment with approved financial targets. Establish and execute a robust risk management plan by identifying, analyzing, and mitigating project risks throughout the lifecycle. Support procurement planning and partner selection in collaboration with sourcing and supply chain stakeholders. Define resource needs, secure and allocate project team members, clarify roles and deliverables, and provide performance feedback to functional managers as appropriate. Develop and implement stakeholder and communications management plans to ensure alignment, transparency, and engagement across key audiences. Represent the project in governance forums and leadership reviews, effectively communicating scope changes, resource needs, timeline adjustments, and budget impacts. What You Will Need Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree required. Engineering, Life Sciences, or Business degree preferred Minimum 4 years of relevant project management experience or equivalent experience leading complex workstreams. Experience in regulated or quality-driven environments Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Smartsheet) Preferred Qualifications Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent Medical device industry experience US20: $107,200 - 178,600

These roles could have travel expectations, and you must work within the country of the job requisition location. Field-based - You can expect to regularly work a majority to 100% of time at customer facilities and has a set territory or expectation to travel within a set boundary. Almost all sales roles would likely be qualified as field-based. Onsite - Role is 100% located at a Stryker facility. Some ad hoc flexibility may be available depending on role, level, and job requirements. Manufacturing roles and any role that requires physical presence at the office would qualify under this category. Hybrid - You can expect to regularly work in both an alternate workplace and a Stryker facility. Roles that are partially remote or co-located would qualify as hybrid, and the expectation to be onsite would be defined and agreed upon by your manager/supervisor.
